REFA'S DEI Initiative.
REFA is committed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. In 2018, REFA developed a DEI Policy, which was adopted by all of the divisions of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. REFA’s DEI Initiative was formed as a result of this policy and has become a top priority for the association.  The initiative, led by the DEI Committee, focuses on education, policy, and being a resource to our members.

Our Mission.

We are committed to bringing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to the forefront of REFA and Boston’s CRE industry through careful policy planning, insightful programming, and tactical steering.

The Policy Subcommittee focuses on determining best practices at the Board and committee level, which will include how to measure accountability.

Steering Subcommittee

The Steering Subcommittee focuses on communicating DEI awareness within REFA and coordinate this effort with counterparts within GBREB; this may also include participation with other area real estate organizations (ie, collaboration among NAIOP, ULI, CREW Boston and others).
